Box. which follows private detectives Cassie Dewell and Cody Hoyt as they join forces with ex-cop and estranged wife, Jenny Hoyt, to search for two sisters who have been kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana.

However, There was a twist of plan when they discovered that these missing girls are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, it now becomes a race against time to stop the killer before another woman is taken. Following the resolution of the kidnappings, Jenny joins forces with Cassie to continue the search for the missing truck driver while also dealing with a new mystery.

The series premiered on ABC as a fall entry in the 2020–21 television season on November 17, 2020, and came to an end on May 18 2021 after airing for 16 episodes. In May 2021, the series was renewed for a second season which premiered on September 30, 2021.
